Aims

Students investigating the relationship between organisms and their environment intertidal rocky shores provide some great opportunities to develop skills in surveying and analysing data.

This project has been primarily developed for Victorian schools although others will find it useful.

All schools that are involved in Marine Discovery Centre, Queenscliff programs at Barwon Heads in Victoria will be direct partners in the project and be able to contribute and utilise data.

All Victorian schools and other interested people can access the data collected through the project online and be able to utilise the information to meet work requirements and achieve other specific learning outcomes

Future Developments

The project also aims to allow for comparison between different coastal environments. In the future, data from other locations will be able to be viewed and comparisons made between data from different coastal environments.
