Students should
compile their field data as follows, so that each student has a
complete set of results for the group's transect:
Each student
should calculate averages of species numbers in their three quadrats
for each station (from their Field Charts).
These results
should be pooled for the class. Results should be swapped until
each member of the group or class has a complete set of data for
each station along the transect.
Provide
each group with the estimated
heights above low water for each station on their particular
transect. (Included in these notes.)
These data
should also be recorded in the pooled results.
After completing
the group data sheets log into the database and upload
your class data to the Rocky Shores Database.
